STOP the craving. No sugar

So I have found a technique I’d like to share for stopping or short circuiting the craving for sugar.

Keep a bag of Almonds hanging around.  When the craving hits , eat about  6 – 8.  Chew them well.   These will last about 20 min.  The craving will hit again and another 6 – 8 .  This should stabilize either the physiological or psychological need to indulge in a sugar snack which can become a never ending cycle.
